Crime Victim Witness Assistance The Victim Witness Assistance Program was created to give every victim and witness a voice in the judicial process and to keep every victim informed of their rights. Our volunteer victim witness advocates are passionately committed to protecting the rights of the most vulnerable of those in our community. Domestic Violence Prevention Information regarding domestic violence, and example of a safety plan, plus names and numbers for several other agencies that offer assistance to crime victims. Crime Victim's Bill Of Rights Pursuant to the Georgia Crime Victims Bill of Rights, which was enacted through the Georgia Legislature in 1995, individuals who are victims of certain crimes are afforded specific rights under the law. |
